As my practice developed, I found my structured ashtanga sequence gave way to a softer, more fluid experience. Still enjoying the physical challenge of balance or strength, I found a much deeper love for the movements that tie postures together. While I enjoy the feeling of "having done work" after moving my body, yoga reminds me that what is most important, is where the mind is dwelling. I once read "The wandering mind is brought back to stillness through repeated practice and non-attachment", and I hope through my classes you develop a love for the repetition, and an appreciation for the art of letting go.

To me yoga is so much more than a physical practice, it was a means for emotional healing. It was in the place of asana that I was first able to experience stillness of the mind and from that day on I was hooked. My goal is to teach fun and accessible classes, with a focus on controlled movements and a tuning into our natural and controlled breathing patterns. Holding no judgement, together we will work to; balance our energies, invite mindfulness into being and see the power consistent effort has in self transformation. I hope to share the love I have for yoga with you.
